Berea Public Service Pathways
You can't pursue a careeryou don't know exists.
Government is one of Canada's largest and most diverse professional environments, but understanding how to enter it can be difficult — particularly for newcomers and people without existing public-sector networks.
Berea Public Service Pathways will introduce participants to careers in municipalities and other public institutions through practical information, professional conversations, mentorship and networking.

African immigrants arrive in Canada with education, professional experience, languages, ideas and ambitions that are not always fully recognized or connected to opportunity.
Berea wants to help build those connections. Through mentorship, professional networks, public-service pathways, entrepreneurship conversations and community participation, we want more members of African diaspora communities to see themselves not simply navigating Canadian institutions, but helping shape them.
